Who is this for?

Are you looking for a job, and has your VDAB job advisor given you a voucher for intensive coaching and job placement support? Then Mentor is the perfect place for you!

What we do

At Mentor, a personal coach will support you with one-on-one sessions to help you find a job. At the start of the program, these sessions are held weekly. They become less frequent later in the program. In addition, you'll be invited to our weekly group sessions (in the "Workspace") to take action alongside your peers and a supervising coach.

How does it work?

We start with an introductory meeting and review the steps of your job search together. We help you polish your skills, guide you in becoming "job-ready" if necessary, and prepare you to apply for jobs. Step by step, we help you find a suitable job. And once you've found one? We assist you during the initial period, stay in touch with you and your employer to see how things are going, and help wherever we can!

Please note! At Mentor, we always try to provide the necessary support to make communication as easy as possible, but the official language of communication is Dutch. (In Ronse/Renaix and Menen/Menin coaching trajectories in French are also possible.

What is the timing?

You can get a voucher from the VDAB for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 9 months, or a voucher for a minimum of 9 months and a maximum of 12 months. You should expect a personal commitment of half a day per week.

How much does this coaching cost?

This coaching is completely free, thanks to funding from the VDAB, the Flemish government, and the European Union. You are only responsible for your own travel expenses.
